Just btw -- I find the "Sorry, Burgy" part of your reply somewhat
patronizing.

otoh, you might be right. It has been several years since I helped
edit Glenn's books. I can't check them now as they are back in
Colorado and I'm in Houston for a month.

Glenn and I are trying to hook up for lunch sometme in the next two
weeks here in NW Houston. I'll inquire of him then on both literalism
and "total inerrancy" (not quite the same thing).

Except for one correspondent I have who insists on "total inerrancy'
(of the KJV of course), I view the inerrancy claim to be without any
usefulness. If only the "originals" are inerrant, and we don't have
these, what difference does it make?
