Thanks Gordon, this is a good point. I mentioned the contrast of N.T.
Wright and Gary Habermas, who I'm sure in many areas of their
theology are
night and day. But they do agree on the real fundamentals, including
the
resurrection, and Habermas, though surely a YEC as he's a Liberty, has
written many other good resources on theism and faith. That's one of
the
really frustrating things for me, as a moderate evangelical, about ID
as a
movement. A conference like this would be awesomely appealing if the
biological ID stuff were moderated with some other Christian
perspectives o=
n
biological evolution. When biological ID is presented as a necessary
component of apologetics, though, that implies it is a vital
component of a
supportable faith, which seems to taint the whole thing.
