My comment is that one can reconcile what you have heard as follows.
The Creation Science community is short of cash with which to conduct
science (e.g. their RATE experiments) but it has lots of cash for PR
activities. The Discovery Institute has lots of cash for PR work. The
evolutionists are short of cash for conducting PR work.
