Rich,
I was not casting doubts on anyone's understanding of what science
consists of. I just wanted both of us to be on the same page, which
we are. Otherwise, confusion may arise rather than understanding.
Sorry if I offended you!

Thank you for the lecture. I guess I don't understand how science is
done. That's why my essay on the annual meeting of the Human Behavior
and Evolution Society at Amherst in 2000 is posted on Kevin
MacDonald's web site in between his response to John Tooby and Steven
Pinker.

But you needn't swallow what I say without determining what I know
about religion and science. Sam Francis, the late paleoconservative
political scientist assuaged his doubts by asking me to do a review
of the evolutionary biologist D.S. Wilson's Darwin's Cathedral which
he published. It is at this link.

Then he asked me to write an essay on race and religion which he
published in Race and the American Prospect.

In my unpublished paper True Religion, which discusses the nature of
the fall, I don't theorize. I simply assume a Darwinian perspective
and then read the literal text in Genesis.
A copy is available upon request.
Best,
Rich Faussette
