[asa] Delay in some posts

Hi,

Some of you have asked about why your posts have not made it to the
list recently. Usually that means that your post contains one of a
handful of "taboo" words that I am using to keep certain topics
(usually of a political nature) off the list. A post that contains
such words gets set aside for moderation. Most of the time the
occurrence of the taboo word is completely legitimate and I allow the
post to go to the list. Unfortunately, this procedure takes time and
vigilance and I have not had a chance to deal with "to be moderated"
posts in the recent past. I hope to correct this today or tomorrow
and get caught. Rest assured that none of the people who have
contacted me about their posts are being singled out or censored. My
apologies for the delay and for the hampering of discussion that this
necessary evil causes.

Please don't reply to the list concerning our moderation policies--
this post itself contains taboo words.
