Do you not think that YHWH is capable of using allegory to fulfill a
function of theological instruction that's understandable to all
generations? Is historical narrative the only genre the Almighty is
allowed to use?

How would the message of the Gospels including the Incarnation of the
Logos, his Earthly ministry, sacrificial death, and Resurrection be
compromised by the targeted use of allegory (as perceived by modern
scholars) in many OT passages?
