Collins is an intelligent and just plain wonderful
guy, but doesn't deal with very many I.D. arguments in
a very in-depth manner. He's more a broad idea man in
the creation/I.D./evolution debate, and in his latest
book discusses the influence that C. S. Lewis had on
his conversion. (Collins was raised by freethinking
parents, homeschooled apparently. But later converted
to Christianity in college after reading Lewis. To
discuss Lewis's theological views and philosophical
arguments and apologetics is of course outside the
realm of this group, however Christian philosopher
Victor Reppert has a blog, "C. S. Lewis's Dangerous
Idea," or just "Dangerous Idea" in which he opens the
discussion of Lewis's views to all. A very interesting
blog.)
