The "opposing anti-evolution" thread, and in particular Gregory Arago's
insightful comments about evolutionary philosophy, reminded me of some
resources that I think do help clarify where we can and should draw
lines between evolution that is valid (scientifically and theologically)
and "evolution" that is not.
One is the ASA Education Commission site that Craig and others are
developing (see the July-August ASA newsletter) - ASA Education
Commission link is
http://www.asa3.org/ASA/education/
Another is the remarkable public correspondence in First Things,
Touchstone, and sermons available on-line pertaining to the Roman
Catholic perspective on evolution. My list of links is at

Also, there are two very good books that I just bought.
"Coming to Peace With Science: Bridging the Worlds Between Faith and
Biology" by Darrel R. Falk, was published by IVP. An Amazon link is

"The Language of God : A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief" is by
Francis S. Collins

Some of you will be hearing Francis Collins at the Annual Meeting.
Cheers.
