You're getting there George, but you still have along way to go.
Praying to Marduk sometimes helps.

Subject: [asa] I'm converting to concordism!

As all on this list know, I've been pretty critical of concordist
approaches to scripture. But I suddenly realized today that some of the
creation texts in the Bible that have seemed hardest to understand as
real history, and that are usually considered to be merely "theological"
or even "mythical," are actually records of an historical event!

The texts I'm referring to are ones that speak of God's creative work in
connection with the defeat of a great sea monster, Rahab (Ps.89:8-13,
Job 26:12-13), sometimes called Leviathan (Ps.74:12-17). Even
conservative scholars have often treated these texts as mere poetry or
"accomodation" to Babylonian or Canaanite myths. But they are history.

It's well known that about 65 Myr an asteroid impact led to the
extinction of the dinosaurs. What has not been known till now is that
just before that event a mutant dinosaur had been hatched with a
radically altered brain. This dinosaur was intelligent! If it had
survived and produced a new species of intelligent dinosaurs then H.
Sapiens never would have developed. Since God wanted human beings to
have dominion over the earth, he destroyed the mutant dinosaur (as in
the above texts - Rahab/Leviathan was of course the mutant) by having an
asteroid collide with the earth.

This is an unassailable discovery since it's tied to a scientifically
known event. The texts I mentioned show that God conveyed scientific
truth about this so we can now be confident that God wrote the Bible.

I hope that all others who in the past haven't wanted the Bible to be
true will now see the error of their ways.

Shalom
George
