I am not sure why it is random but it is a feature of majordomo -
something in the config file...Presumably someone has edited the file.
That would also explain the footer we now see. But who ever edited the
config file needs to add a new carriage return to ensure space between
it and the expected posts....
(The Other Iain who spent years working intimately with majordomo....and
loves it even though it is oooold... :) )
