Concluding what you do does not logically follow from your assumption. there
is an alternative and until you rule it out, you don't have a tightly bound
chain of reasoning.
How do you rule out the alternative possibility that the Bible is simply
false? Or do you just assume that it is true and work from there?
So, the guideline is: If a belief preexists in the culture of the people of
God but modern science falsifies it, yet it shows up in Scripture, it is a
divine accommodation.
