Because of original sin, sickness came into the world. Romans I says that because forefathers knowingly disobeyed God, that the conditions listed, which include homosexuality, backbiting and others, came into the world.

I believe there is a very strong correlation to diabetes. Some diabetics are so genetically disposed that there is nothing that can be done. Others would be fine if they didn't sit on their rears and eat too much starch and sugar.

There are scientific studies showing that homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom. In certain species, the ratios approximate ours - with there being far more homosexual males than females. Reading the study reports changed my view of homosexuals.

This means that my child, or your child could end up being gay, no matter what we do. Burgy's child is gay, which is why he has some of his views about the subject.

This is a physical condition. We can do things to prevent the 'type II condition', but the vast majority of the people are type I. We cannot fix them, and isolating them or killing them will not prevent the condition reappearing. Since they are gay, they are not going to pass on the genes directly in most cases, though many do reproduce. We don't genetically control diabetics, so genetically controlling gays wreaks of the injustices of the gene courts of the 1930's.

The 'type II' cases tend to be caused by an absent same sex parent and an abusive opposite sex person prominent in their childhood life (I am not an expert - but this is what I have derived from research.) The presence of a loving parent of either sex is likely to lessen the probability of a child being homosexual. I have not heard of any study showing that the gay social structure encourages homosexuality. It does not seem illogical, but I am surprised that in my research that it hasn't come up. One of the reasons may be that a child's natural inclinations become set during the time of love and affection before sex has become an issue for them - I do not know for sure, and would like to hear from people who do.

There have been studies into the incidence of sexual abuse from gay and straight perpetrators. Straight males have the highest record of being the perpetrators of sexual abuse. When I have heard of males molesting young boys, I have not heard them described as gay. Apparently, the perpetrator is classified according to his relationships with adults - and those with adult homosexual relationships have a much lower incidence of being child molestors.

Rich, the science doesn't appear to back up any of your arguments about the condition itself. If you have scientific evidence to support it - please present it.

When it comes to society and gay marriage, the issue becomes very complicated if you are aware of the condition and are looking at it with the eyes of love. As I said, I do not support gay marriage, at least not in the religious sense. However, I do want to look at the issue with the eyes of love. The insurance condition in this country is very serious. Microsoft had been insuring the partners of their gay employees until the religious right stepped in. I believe they have ceased to do so. This is just hateful and shameful.

If Christians would not strike out in anger against compassionate acts - like major companies allowing insurance to cover gay partners - then maybe the gays wouldn't be in such a panic that they also strike out in anger. Anger snowballs. It needs to stop.

  Abandoning the Levitical prohibitions will only end the human family that formerly composed the civilization. It will not end civilization. Same sex marriage is an aspect of the abandonment of the Levitical prohibitions. The entire agenda is Marxist and destructive of American society and religion. The agenda is an attack. It is not against me personally. The attack is against Christianity and Christian beliefs and practices.
