Yes, if he is a sojourner, (which is an alien who is given permission to
occupy an area within the town/city walls and do business) and is considered for
conversion and converts and allows his foreskin to be severed, he shall be like
a native of the land. A converted male is at the bottom of the male hierarchy
in Judaism. They have one of those, you know. Hereditary hierarchies.
And they don't proselytize. And that was 7th century Judaism, the
Deuteronimistic history.
By the 5th century Ezra was outlawing intermarriage even with Samaritans
because they had in turn intermarried with the people of the lands while the
Judahite elite were captive in Babylon.
and remember, the Benjaminites had to murder husbands and steal wives because
the intermarriage ban was even effective among the tribes of Israel who
refused themselves to intermarry with the benjaminites who had lost their wives and
children forcing them to murder husbands and steal wives for themselves or
face extinction.
