Interesting assertion. Prove it. We certainly have the capacity to
defend ourselves (be it with fists or something else) but there is no
verse in scripture or quotation of Christ to that effect. In fact one
could argue the opposite (as many pacifists do) "turn the other cheek".
It is in fact a supposition based on a particular brand of Christianity
rather than a truly theologically sound position. IMO. While I actually
would agree in principle that we all have the right to defend ourselves
and I think God would judge according to our motivations at the time, I
would call "Self defense an inalienable right because its god-given" a
risky supposition without real basis in theology.
