Whatever the merits of the link might be, the mixing of veteran's day
and memorial day is
one of my pet peeves... tomorrow is a day to remember those who have
died in military service,
not those who are veterans. I always make it a point to make the
distinction, in order to properly
honor the veterans who are still with us in November, and to honor the
war dead who gave their
lives in service, in May. To mix the two, in my estimation, misses the
mark.

Just my two cents (in 1990 constant dollars)
