Folks,

Would you have a recommendation for a short reading (10-40 pages?) on
evidences for age of earth and a synopsis of earth history? I'm
interested specifically in Earth history rather than the broader topic
of
cosmic evolution. You know -- evolution of the crust and atmosphere,
red
beds, BIF, Plate Tectonics, erosional and depositional features,
paleostructures, ...

The audience will be non-science faculty at a small liberal arts college
(RC) who are participating in a summer workshop on the CrEvo issue with
particular emphasis on our two common gen-ed modules titled "Humanity in
the Universe".

The spiritual demography of the audience will vary from atheist to YEC,
with majority having the typical apathy and forgiveable (?) ignorance of
the general public.

The reading doesn't have to come from a Christian perspective, although
that would be more than fine.

Thanks!

Roger
