The Mexican statesman Colisimo reinforced that idea in modern terms when
he said "We do not own the land. We only lease it from our
grandchildren."
He was assassinated about 30 years ago for this and other "radical"
statements. If you visit Mexico, stop by his memorial. It is inspiring.
