@ You're most welcome. Whatever blows your skirts.

Here are some others who eagerly added his book to their reading list:

Internet Infidels:
Did Jesus Exist? ".....There is also an endless
record of persistent ideological doctoring of the
canonical texts from the earliest dates - see
Bart Ehrman's The Orthodox Corruption of
Scripture: The Effect of Early Christological
Controversies on the Text of the New Testament,
1993, and the works cited there. .." "..I now
have a more than trivial doubt that Jesus
existed.."
http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/richard_carrier/jesuspuzzle.shtml

God is for suckers:
“Sometimes Christian apologists say there are
only three options to who Jesus was: a liar, a
lunatic or the Lord,” he [Bart Ehrman] tells a
packed auditorium here at the University of North
Carolina, where he chairs the department of
religious studies. “But there could be a fourth
option legend.” http://gods4suckers.net/archives/category/atheism/

Atheist Coalition of San Diego:
"...The atheist in me appreciated the
de-mystification of human consciousness, which
for too long has seemed to be the product of a
divine creator. ...I also ordered "Lost
Christianities: Christian Scriptures and the
Battles Over Authentication" by Prof. Bart Ehrman
of UNC Chapel Hill. .." ~ H.
Campbell http://www.atheistcoalition.org/docs/teaching_co_review.html

The Separationist, the newsletter of the Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry.
"...In his introduction, Price, who is professor
of biblical criticism at the Center for Inquiry
Institute (an arm of the Council for Secular
Humanism) .... says the following about the
historicity of Jesus problem. “The historical
Jesus (if there was one) might well have been a
messianic king, or a progressive Pharisee, or a
Galilean shaman, or a magus, or a Hellenistic
sage. .... I think Price makes sense. Let me give
an example of the metaphors that Christian
scholars resort to when asked point blank about
Jesus’ historicity. Last June, the guest speaker
at the meeting of the Atheists and Other
Freethinkers (in Sacramento Cal.) was Dr. Robert
Moon ... I found Price’s book fascinating, and
wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with an
interest in the subject. Other books on the
subject that I found interesting are: .....
•Jesus: Apocalyptic Prophet of the New Millennium
by Bart D. Ehrman, Oxford Univ. Press, NY, 1999.
Although the author ends up doing what Price
criticizes as reconstructing Jesus to an image of
one’s liking..... Ehrman was this year’s invited
speaker at the annual conference on religion and
public life sponsored by the University of South
Carolina." http://lowcountry.humanists.net/SEPS/sep-2000-09.html

A man named Arthur Daniels, Jr is of the opinion
that, "In the world of theology, liberals and
atheists also tend to combine their efforts for a
common goal. Usually that goal involves
attempting to discredit or otherwise debunk
orthodox Christian teachings." [See his
article "Crouching Liberals, Hidden Atheists" below for more details.]

Would you agree with his assessment?

Crouching Liberals, Hidden Atheists Or,
Exposing The "Funk" of Two Thousand Years - by Arthur Daniels, Jr.

In the award-winning hit movie, "Crouching Tiger,
Hidden Dragon," two female fighters combined
their efforts for a common, insidious goal.

In the world of theology, liberals and atheists
also tend to combine their efforts for a common
goal. Usually that goal involves attempting to
discredit or otherwise debunk orthodox Christian teachings.

In my parody of the movie title here, my
intention is to show that, for the most part,
liberal "Christian" scholars who crouch around
looking for "fundamentalist" prey are actually hidden atheists themselves.

But before getting into the "nitty gritty" of
exposing "Jesus" Seminar founder ..... Con't..
