The prior response was about the safety of vaccines. As far as a relgious
refusal, I dont know what your friends concern is, but some religious
concerns regard use of aborted fetal tissue as the culture that the vaccine
is grown in. No vaccine in current use requires the aquisition of new fetal
tissue, but some are grown in cell cultures adopted from aborted fetuses in
the 1960's

Of course we dont know why the fetuses that started these cell lines were
aborted. There could have been a legitimate reason.

I dont know of any denomination that is recommending vaccine refusal. Does
anyone else know of one?
