Janice,

This isn't news about Michael Ruse, he's been saying this for a few years
now--and we Christians in the sciences are mighty glad to have him on board,
now that he agrees with us about this. (He didn't used to say such things,
but now he does. Of course he gets attention for saying them while we got
ignored. I'm glad he keeps saying them, bully for him.)

My points, Janice, is not that Mr Pearcey is wrong about Dawkins and
company. My point is, that he and other influential voices--Denyse is
another one, remember her playing this tune last year on the list--keep
saying that we TEs just let Dawkins and company get away with speaking for
us.

Give me a break.

When we say, and have for decades been saying, exactly what Ruse is now
saying, we don't even get noticed by Christiain commentators, let alone by
Dawkins and company. Ruse isn't even the slightest bit original in any of
this; he's not even original in using the term "evolutionism" in his latest
book, as if he had just invented it (TEs and others have used this term at
least since the 1970s, if not earlier). But he's such a big fish that the
whole pond listens when he talks. Again, Bully for Ruse.

But not bully for Mr Pearcey. SOme folks just can't credit we TEs for
anything.
