Well, I suppose one way understand it is that we were ultimately
created from "star dust".

I realize that this is tied into with whether God is actively involved
in the creation and to what extent we can trust that God is actively
in control of all that happens. And that is not a small matter, because
with so much evil in the world, there are times in our lives when it is
surely hard to get up in the morning if we could not turn to God's word
and be confident that God will claim the final victory over this mess.
We know we can't. So anything that shakes the scripture that lends
us that hope is hard.

But couldn't we also see that from the very dust of stars, God made
man, that God has ordered the stars and knows them by name, he
rides the dark matter (the clouds of the heavens) and sends his
rain in season. Then truly, what is man, that He should care about
him?

If it should inspire faith, then by all means, seek, but it seems like
this is a very deep and gooey tar pit where many a bright mind has
become stuck.

by Grace alone we proceed,
Wayne
