Just listening to an analyst (Economics editor for Business Week)
discuss Exxon-Mobil's record-setting annual profit. In the
discussion, he stated with some incredulity that Exxon-Mobil's
production fell 3.6% this year in spite of the record-breaking oil
prices. It was stated in the context of shareholders who will be
saying what is going on with the declining production. If they had
just been able to maintain the production levels of a year ago, their
profits would have been far higher.
This would seem to be evidence for what Glen has been saying about the
imminent decline in oil production.
