Coining the term MN

To all:

I remember in the not too distant past that someone posted that the
term "Methodological Naturalism" was coined by a faculty member at a
Christian institution of higher learning (Calvin or Wheaton I
believe). I t was also stated that Ronald Numbers had traced the
origin of the term and that this had been published. Could someone
provide the reference for this publication? Thanks.
