Whoah...correction to the fourth sentence of the previous message. It should read:
   
  "one should properly contextualize the existence/phenomenon of evolutionary biology in comparison to all of the other varieties of evolution that are in common *usage*; and there are many of them."
   
  Otherwise, it might seem a stretch to think that evolutionary theory as it is used in several different disciplines is somehow 'in common.' That is, diversity of usage is exactly an issue that seemingly needs clarification, which hopefully ASA members can help undertake.
