Well, Janice, I'll let you practice the art of insult if you wish, indeed an
honored art in antiquity along with laying waste the homes and households of
the enemy. I guess Robert Boyle was just too "modern," too much a part of
that "victim culture," for your taste. I grant you, they really did bend
over backwards in his day to avoid offensive words and institutions. Why,
Shakespeare is just so tame and the slave trade such a gentle business, it's
really so hard to understand such timidity nowadays, isn't it?
