At the same time, however, Dr. Habermas is IMO an excellent scholar. I
share his view that the resurrection was an actual historical event--in
contradiction to what John Haught said on the witness stand in Harrisburg a
couple of weeks ago, a camcorder would have seen the risen Christ along with
Thomas and the other disciples; the fact that the camcorder had no faith is
irrelevant to the facts.

Would a camcorder have seen Moses and Elijah when they appeared from the dead at the Transfiguration?

Would a camcorder have seen what Paul saw?

Would a camcorder have seen Jesus as Stephen claimed to see Jesus?

Would a camcorder have seen Jesus ascend into Heaven? Would the camcorder have to be pointed up to see that event?

Richard Carrier's chapter in 'The Empty Tomb' is excellent on what Paul meant when he declared that the dead Jesus became a life-giving spirit.
