Assuming that God created everything in the universe, then this would
naturally included any viruses. That does not necessarily mean that God
inflicted this virus upon us. The spread of such diseases is mankind's
failing to live a clean and wholesome life. Personally I believe this was
one of the reasons cleanliness was given such great importance in the OT.
