What about the external evidence - "It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying.........."? (Jude 14) Genesis 5:1-21 says there was 1) Adam, 2) Seth, 3) Enosh, 4) Kenan, 5) Mahalalel, 6) Jared, 7) Enoch.
