If there is evidence for God's work in nature, can that evidence be
admitted, or is the evidence itself actually anti-science?
Controversies like Kansas are simply a proxy for that question because it
is a question about who gets to say what science is.
Ted wonders:
What should be done, if a majority of biologists say NO, while a minority
say YES, to this question. Furthermore, what if the majority tend to hire
and promote only those who say NO? I do not know to what extent (if any)
this question may capture a reality. The part about a partly split opinion
however seems true. The size of the minority may not be easily found, but
it obviously exists.
Furthermore, if the answer to this question could be driven strongly by
ideology (for at least some respondents, some of those who say YES and some
of those who say NO), should those answers be discounted in the total?
