As one who believes the YEC position to be a Satanically-inspired deception, I urge you to re-read (or read) my article: "Young-Earth Creationism: A Literal Mistake," published in PSCF.

If we can't openly repudiate what is patently false, how do we have any credibility at all?  This is the mistake the ID group made.  They decided early on to play footsy with YECs due to their sheer numbers.  So they indulged in intellectual dishonesty.  And we should follow suit? Why?
