So do you want to go back to the pre Nancy Cruzan days when you had to have
all of your wishes written down? The process isnt perfect, I wouldnt expect
it to be. But, since it is nearly universal that there is a default
decision making process if there is no specified written prior directive,
you have to argue about those processes. Do you know what they are in your
state?

It is not possible to write an advance directive that will address every
possible scenario. The concept of a surrogate decision maker is a valid one
in my opinion. Is this the issue you are having trouble with?

As far as the veracity of the husband. Sure I have heard all of the rumors.
But really, the things on the internet, the speculation, is just that.
Frankly, making up your mind about the husband based on this stuff is not
Christ like, in my opinion. I am not going to judge him based on this
information. He could be a psychopath and liear for all I know. The truth
is you do not really know the details. I am basing my opinion on the fact
that this decision went through the courts on numerous occasions, with
evidence presented from both sides. I suspect you could say that the
Florida judges had an agenda, but how far do you take this conspiracy
theory?
