Wayne first of all there is no apology needed. I certainly didn't take offense to what you said about worrying being sin, infact it kind of comforted me some strange way my make me want to strive for a non-worrying state. But I just really want to think all you that responded and Iain yes you did help and thank you very much for taking the time. I am somewhat reluctant to admit what I am about to say, and I hope you all won't judge me any lower or think less of me, or be embarassed to talk to me, but I have "moderate to severe clinical obsessive compulsive disorder". Truthfully I feel that I should have this disorder because its driving me into the field of medical research for malignant brain cancer. I discovered suffering and mental fatigue through my OCD and it make me think that if I can suffer in a mental way that bad, its hard to imagine suffering that much physically and I have been heading toward brain cancer research for a long time now. My faith in God is important!
to me, and things that are important to me tend to elevate the OCD. So I get on a jag like this and can't get off of it because it dominates my thoughts for hours. And sometimes you guys are the only ones I can talk to about my paranoid feelings with quantum physics, because basically nobody knows squat about quantum physics. I don't know squat about quantum physics really and I think that is what disturbs me. But I really really really thank you all for being so kinds as you help me with some of these issues that I battle. I am compiling a list of scientist-christians, and that has helped. If I start to feel lonley I just load up my list and it comforts me to the names of all the scientist in the christian faith. Some of your names are on that last, I know Rev. Dr. Murphy's is, he is a great guy that has helped me alot and I draw comfort from seeing names like that on there, it says to me "you are not alone".
God bless you all,
John
PS - if you know any names of any modern quantum physicists please throw them to me for my list. And Dr. Murphy, thanks I have the good Dr. Griffiths on the list. He is a really great fellow.
