Iain
You should be aware that most find Vernon's numbers game on Gen 1.1 totally
unconvincing and YEC arguments to be false and deceitful. Add to that
Vernon's misuse of Ephesians 6 to gain the high moral ground by insinuating
that us wicked "TEs" who dont accept numbers games on the bible are under
the spell of Satan your concern should be with his continual refusal to
respect the sincere Christian faith of others -even if he thinks others
wrong. There are several on this list who I consider to be wrong over
certain things, but I respect their Christian faith and desire to relate the
faith to science.
My flippancy was simply to remind him not to play around with Scripture.
I am sorry if you have no sense of humour and aid and abet
super-spirituality and the perversion of scripture to denigrate other
Christians

Michael
