I wouldn't think so, either, but it sure sounds that way much of the
time. I would prefer that people be more precise in what they say, but
then that may just be my Aspie nature. ;{>

Other than the obvious difference in scriptural interpretation, the
YECs seem to object to the notion that God may have created all of this
with only "natural" processes. I have had both YECs and IDers say to me
that there must be a "place for God" (meaning, of course, that there
just must be something "unexplainable").

TEs might say that God "managed" evolution by "tweaking" DNA. Does it
matter whether the "tweaking" was done with by "natural" means, or by a
miracle? Why?

There is also a false dichotomy between what science has "explained"
and what is unknown. Our "explanations" are just incomplete models,
devised by reverse-engineering what God did. This side of heaven, we
will never know how correct the models are.
