Just a caution:
The Bible reflects the science of their day. That doesn't mean it has no science. Some science you can expect the Bible to have has to do with rules of sociology/anthropology regarding human groups. Science that was available then and now. For example, the phrase "spewed out of the land" where ever it is found is a metaphor for a human group's extinction.
