ASA is a organization of Christians, which means that nobody believes
in"purely physical laws." All Christians believe that God is
Creator. Studying physical laws by Christian means, that they want to
learn how God organized His Creating. Noone believes that their studying
of reality is reality itself, but we believe that God speaks in Creation as
well, and that He left His marks there.
But "invoking God" when we study? If it means that we work prayerfully, I
believe that we all as Christians pray when we work. And we may learn from
non-Christians (God's creators) as well. We work with the same creation,
God's creation.
