Looking at a fairly recent edition of Vermes' The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls, it seems both Enoch and Melchizedek were thought by at least some not to have died. Melchizedek is identified in some writings with the archangel Michael, and an apocryphal story about Noah features his father sending Methusaleth over to Paradise to ask Enoch about Noah (titled somethign like A Genesis Apocryphon).
