InterVarsity has come up with a new network for Christians
in academia. It might be a good opportunity to help
influence areas of faith and science, e.g. some polite hints
that the IV Press offerings on creation and evolution might
be better replaced with a reprinting of Science Held
Hostage.

> I'm writing to let you know that as of March 1, after a
two-year planning process, the Emerging Scholars
Network is here!
> No matter what your current career stage (from
undergrad to emeritus, whether teacher, researcher, or
campus minister) you are qualified to become a member
of Emerging Scholars Network. All you need to do is read
the ESN Mission Statement -- and decide if that mission is
YOUR mission.
> If so, there are no dues or fees: just let us know who you
are with our online membership form.
