On the topic of why more Christians are not aware of "critical
thinking exercises" in evolution, I have done the occasional
survey of what is available in the smallish Christian bookstores
that are often found in strip-malls. In the area of evolution
or science in general and accommodation with Christianity, I often
find few or no books in stock. By far (at least 10:1), the majority
of books on the subject are anti-evolution and/or anti-old earth.
Books by people like Ken Ham far outnumber any of the titles
referenced in this thread. Roughly, the numbers break down to:

#(Ken Ham-like) > #(Johnson) > #(Dembski, Behe, Moreland-like)
>> #(Van Till, Ruse-like)

In my experience, you really have to visit a large university's
bookstore to find a reasonable selection.
