Actually, I can agree with both of you. (I'm trying to become diplomatic
as I grow quickly old and only mature slowly.) As I see it, we need to
change the equation. The science card works only on the scientifically
astute. For those whose focus is on the Bible, we need to read it to them.

You may have noticed one of this month's PSCF
<http://www.genesisproclaimed.org/resources/YEC%20Article.pdf>articles that
I was priviledged to write. It underscores the biblical shortcomings of
the YEC arguments. A phrase used in the article is "biblical
distortionism" to replace the term "biblical literalism," which YECs
brandish proudly like a red badge of courage.

If we can get that phrase established in Christian vernacular, and make it
stick, we can drive a stake through the heart of the YEC phenomenon, in my
humble estimation.

I was tempted to ask you if Glenn can't have it could you give it to me,
then I wondered where I would put it. Let's give that "n" to the ASA and
let it stand for - Not in my backyard!
