RE: Biblical Interpretation Reconsidered

A minor quibble --

The Church, even in the absence of scripture, is a
place where one can learn the historical prepositions
that attest Jesus is the Son of God, as it did before
the documents that comprise the New Testament were
written, much less formed into a canon.

I would also suggest that it is more than theoretical
to say that can also experience it through the working
of the Holy Spirit, but perhaps this is what you mean
by divine revelation in another post.

Neither of these possibilities require insanity. Only
one of these two requires divine inspiration.
