I happened to catch a radio comment by Rush Limbaugh a few weeks ago in
which he cited some recent observation and then extrapolated that to a
comment that the observation was very much at variance with the global
warming doomsayers. It thought it was just part of his usual right wing
nonsense -- then I remembered he was still in rehab. While I was puzzling
over this, a different announcer said that the clip was sponsored by the
Oil & Gas Association.

I might be incorrect on the association name, but it was either that or
something very similar.

If Glenn is right, and I happen to think he is, the industry is whistling
in the wind.

Having seen IBM make similar (although not immoral) kind of decisions in
the early 90s, when they allowed themselves to be blindsided by Bill
Gates, I can understand how the top executives of a corporation can
easily believe what they want to believe. Of course, we are all prone to
this malady! <G>
