Gary has made a very good and serious point. It means that Uniformitarians
like me must repent and become young earth catastrophists as it is now clear
that the Grand Canyon was eroded in 84 years, meaning an annual rate of
erosion of over 5o feet per year.
This means that I am now in total agreement with Bill Payne and think that
Glenn Morton is barking up the wrong fossil tree in the Precambrian at the
bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Gary are you willing to help me write this up as a scientific paper for Ex
Nihilo or the CRSQ.
