    Sarah asked: "What makes burgy's 'roster
    of shame' unacceptable and the ICR's exhibits
    ok?"

    I must evaluate my use of "roster of shame" on its own, and whether or
    not there are excesses on the YEC side ought to be irrelevant.

    I am reading a book called "25 Rules of Civility" this week. I am
    continually trying to evaluate my own language and demeanor against YEC
    ideas. I am still unconvinced that "roster of shame" is a "bad thing."
    But I am leaning in that direction.

    Suppose there was a listing in the local newspaper of all the persons in
    town who seriously practiced astrology -- that is -- they were proactive
    at it -- more than just reading the astrology columns now and then.

    Would it be appropriate to refer to that list as a "roster of shame?"
    Suppose you are a HS science teacher and the question is asked? If not
    "roster of shame," what label would you use?

    How do you refer to a person's position which is clearly nonsense without
    using the word "nonsense?"
