    I think you may have misunderstood my remark. Note that it was followed by a
    smiley face.

    I was using the term "intelligently designed" there in the peculiar manner
    of the advocates of the ID movement. Doing so brings up exactly the question
    you raise. If you have followed the conversations on this list, you will
    know that I have very strong objections to the rhetorical strategies and
    science-like claims of the ID movement.
