    I do not mean to portray Paul as ignorant. But it is also not proper to
    portray him as having as much knowledge of the issues as we in the 21st
    century have.

    My point is simply to observe that we do not know how much knowledge Paul
    had of these things, and so it is improper to read his writings as if he
    did have that knowledge.
