On oil,

There was an interesting article in Science Nov.1 on the energy
aspects of global warming. First sentence of abstract:

Stabilizing the carbon dioxide-induced component of climate change is an energy
problem.

I don't have any expertise to comment on it - maybe Glenn or others care to.
