    I won't even bring up the millstone that YEC is around the neck of
    Christianity. This list does a wonderful job in that regard.

    For the record, I just couldn't live with re-defining a day as
    something that it wasn't. And, in my pursuit of the truth, it was
    exciting (although sad in many ways) to accept that ANE cosmology
    fits Gen 1 like a glove.

    Day-agers may have the purest hearts in the world. It is
    somewhat saddening to see them jilted by the very book they
    are passionately trying to defend.
