Nobody worships the Bible. The argument goes something like

    A. The Bible is the Word of God.
    B. God cannot lie.
    C. The Bible is entirely true.

When falsity in the Bible is shown to be likely (let alone certain in
major portions) all sorts of problems emerge. Here's my position

    A. The Bible has errors (some very, very large)
    B. God is, supposedly, omnipotent
    C. The Bible is not the Word of God

    >Say there is no God and live your life as through that were absolutely
    true.
    (snip)
    >When through with this exercise, atheism is down the tubes and agnosticism
      necessarily follows with it.

The apostle Paul said if there was no resurrection Christians are to
be pitied more than all men. Agnosticism or atheism, according to Paul,
is the more pleasant way to live (1Cor 15:19, 32).

Non-Christian wondering how a real God just can't seem to get his
message across (where in the Bible does it say there are errors in
    the Bible, Walt?)
