    My reasons for suggesting at least temporary bracketing are:
            1) The belief that demons & angels are the same type of
    entity - i.e., that
    demons are fallen angels - needs more careful examination than it is
    often given. The
    biblical texts that it's based on make use of mythological language &
    in at least one
    case (Is.14:12-14) have simply been misinterpreted.
            2) There is indeed "certain potential for tangents" - namely,
                    a. issues of theodicy &
                    b. questions about magic, occult practice, &c.
